Job Title: IT Sales Manager
Job Overview:
As an IT Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of IT sales professionals to achieve sales targets and drive business growth. You will develop and execute strategic sales plans, build and maintain strong customer relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote IT products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
Set sales goals, targets, and quotas for the IT sales team.
Monitor team performance, analyze sales data, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Provide coaching, training, and mentoring to team members to enhance their sales skills and product knowledge.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue objectives.
Team Management:
Recruit, hire, and onboard new IT sales team members.
Foster a positive and motivated work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide regular feedback to team members.
Manage work schedules, assignments, and resources to ensure optimal team performance.
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the IT sector.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop compelling sales materials and strategies.
Client Relationship Management:
Understand clients’ IT needs and pain points, and propose suitable solutions.
Maintain a deep understanding of the IT market trends, technologies, and competitors.
Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share and increase revenue.
Analyze market trends and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Monitor competitive landscape and provide insights to senior management.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for management.
Utilize CRM tools to track and manage sales activities and customer interactions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Proven experience 3 to 4 Years in IT sales, including 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Strong understanding of IT products, services, and solutions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a sales team effectively.
Proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
